The Varsity Lady Demons win the home opener v Fort Mill. Freshman Mallory Branham picks up the win on the mound in a 1 hit shut out where she recorded 5 strikeouts with no walks or hit batters. Mallory was also 3-4 at the plate. Leading hitters for the demons were; Senior centerfielder Kellee Branham with her 5th homerun of the regular season. Junior shortstop Emily Vinson was 3-3 with 2 stolen bases and 2 RBIs. Senior second baseman Gracie Holland was 2-2 (double, single SAC) with 2 RBIs, and finally Sophomore catcher Sydney Branham was 2-3 and lead the team with 4RBIs.

In a heavily offensive game, the Demon defense played well behind the freshman committing just one error. Summer Staples with a big defensive diving grab in left field.

The B team and Varsity will be at home this Friday against Sumter whole JV travels to Lexington for the White Knoll/Lexington tournament.
